# Neuralink Launches GB-PRIME Brain-Chip Clinical Trial in Great Britain

On July 31, 2025, Neuralink announced the launch of the GB-PRIME study across two UK sites, with University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust selected as lead site. The multi-site feasibility study evaluates the safety and functionality of Neuralink's N1 implant in patients with severe neurological conditions such as spinal cord injury and ALS, making the UK the first European country to host such a study.
