DefEYE, Inc. launched as an independent ophthalmic biologics company effective October 1, 2025, closing a $12 million Series Seed Preferred Equity round with an in-kind investment from Celularity, which also granted DefEYE an exclusive sublicense to its ophthalmic biologics portfolio including Biovance and Biovance 3L Ocular.
