Johnson and Johnson announced a deal to acquire Atraverse Medical, maker of the FDA-cleared HOTWIRE radiofrequency transseptal guidewire system used in left-heart access procedures for atrial fibrillation; J&J plans to complete the takeover in Q2 2026 and will slot Hotwire into its fast-growing cardiovascular portfolio. The deal value was not disclosed.
